Description of Project:

The Community Health Care Clinic serves to consolidate community health services which are currently spread out over the hospital site, into one purposefully designed facility allowing for a synergy of functions and spaces, and the improved delivery of community based health care services. In this location the residents living in the existing care home north of the hospital site also have convenient and essentially level access to the Health Centre building. The building accommodated:

  • Primary care (diabetes/seniors)
  • Health promotion and prevention
  • Health protection
  • Home health
  • Mental health and addictions
