Description of Project:
- VanMar Constructors 1030 Inc. was selected as Construction Manager
- 5 storey wood, masonry and steel frame building
- 1 building consisting of 96 units totalling 27,046 sf to be converted to 86 units with added common areas
- Hazardous materials dealt with on site included lead paint, asbestos and mould
- Extensive structural upgrades
- Heritage Restoration to the metal cornice, glazed masonry and complete restoration of the hotel lobby.
- Metal Paneling, stucco and glazed brick cladding
- Existing SBS flat roofing was repaired/replaced
- Replaced all plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, fixtures and trims
- State of the art fire alarm system to deal with hard to house tenants
