Sustainability & Energy Efficiency
A commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
VanMar has extensive experience incorporating environmental and energy efficient elements into structures. We have acted as the construction manager-at-risk or the design-builder on 13 projects that were awarded LEED certification – ten of them Gold. Four of our current projects are targeting LEED certification or equivalent.
Even if you are not aiming for LEED certification, VanMar is committed to incorporating energy saving and environmentally friendly elements into all structures where we have an influence on the design or see an opportunity to make a change during construction. We see it as an opportunity not just to do something good for the environment, but also to generate long-term savings for you and to create a healthier environment for the end-users.
